‘BOCONNOC – IT IS THE PARADISE OF CORNWALL’
This talk will show how the estate and house at Boconnoc have developed over time. The Cornish families who have owned it have played important roles in the immediate vicinity (including at Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan) and in national events. Due to its insular position in a beautiful secluded valley, it is less well known than many other estates in Cornwall. Despite suffering vicissitudes over the centuries, it is still family owned and run and has become a successful business for the twenty-first century.
